An ACTIVE SOUTH AMERICA trip is no ordinary adventure vacation. We believe South America's stunning scenery and wildlife needs to be experienced in the raw, not just seen through a bus or boat window.
We design trips that take you to extraordinary locations in South America. To get there, we'll hike, bike, paddle, float and fly. You don't need to be extremely fit or active to come on one of our trips, but you need to be keen to get outside and experiencing South America's incredible scenery in an active manner!
We take people from all walks of life, who may or may not have a great deal of experience in adventure travel, to the most breathtaking parts of Ecuador, Peru and the Galapagos Islands . We create the opportunity to explore South America's culture, incredible scenery, wildlife and outdoor activities.
We offer a variety of small group adventures in South America -and every trip is unique. Because we are a small company, we have the flexibility to work with you to ensure your trip is the best it can possibly be for you. One of the best things about traveling with us is that you have the opportunity to explore plenty of options everywhere we go. We do some activities as a group, but there are always opportunities to get out and explore on your own.
Our small size and local contacts mean we can customize our trips to suit you. We can put together any trip to accommodate any particular interest. We try to minimize time on the road enjoying the rest of our time in the great outdoors.
An ACTIVE SOUTH AMERICA trip is not a hiking tour-but we'll do some awesome hikes. It's not a cycling tour- but you can do some incredible rides. There are some great opportunities to go snorkeling or diving in the Galapagos Islands, but you won't miss out if water sports are not your thing. We like to visit some exciting locations-by bike, on foot, rafting and canyoning but we also enjoy our creature comforts. Our days end with hot showers, clean rooms and nice meals. We even arrange rest days, where you can read a book all day or shop till you drop. Most important of all-our aim is to exceed your expectations and we will do all we can to make this vacation the best one you've ever had. We've worked hard to put together the best trips in South America.

All our highly trained trip leaders - who are generally American, Australian and New Zealanders - speak fluent Spanish, are passionate about outdoor pursuits and have a wide knowledge of the regions we travel through, and South America in general. They are knowledgeable about all aspects of your trip, and take great pleasure in sharing their insights with you. Each trip has one of our leaders, and a local guide. Our local guides speak good English, and have an amazing knowledge of the history, flora and fauna of the remote areas we explore.
